Laconia Citizen - Hot properties at Meredith Bay

While new construction around Lake Winnipesaukee is slowing to a crawl, things are booming in The Weirs where Southworth Development is moving forward with The Townhomes at Meredith Bay, response to which has been so positive that the company is fast-tracking another residential project nearby.

Comprising 19 units in four buildings, The Townhomes at Meredith Bay are perched atop a cliff some 50 feet above the Big Lake on the eastern side of Scenic Road.

The original plan for the townhomes, explained Chris Duprey, the Meredith Bay project executive, was to build a single, four-unit structure and, depending on how sales went, to construct the additional units as demand necessitated.
