In partnership with Paul Fireman, former Chairman and CEO of Reebok International, Ltd., David and Willowbend Development acted as lead developer, asset manager, construction manager and/or golf operator on numerous master planned residential resort and hospitality-branded real estate communities including:

• - Coco Beach Golf & Country Club, Rio Grande, Puerto Rico

  

  This development includes 36 holes of ocean front golf which were construction managed by Willowbend and Southworth, together with up to 1400 residential units. Southworth continues to own an interest in the project, and manages the golf operations. Coco Beach was recently named Golf Inc. Magazine’s second place “Development of the Year” in the International category for 2006. Coco Beach will serve as the host site of the first-ever PGA TOUR event to take place in Puerto Rico when The Puerto Rico Open presented by Banco Popular is held in March 2008.

• - Liberty National Golf Club and Residences, Jersey City, New Jersey

  

  Willowbend Development is majority owner, co-developer, golf construction manager and operator of this ultra-exclusive 18-hole golf course on New York Bay adjacent to Liberty State Park and the Statue of Liberty. After the spin-off of Southworth Development (described under "The Southworth Story") in 2005, Southworth completed construction of the golf course which opened in June 2006. The project includes three residential towers permitted for 934 units, on which construction is expected to begin in 2007.

• - Starr Pass Resort & Country Club, Tucson, Arizona

  

  Willowbend was a major investor, co-developer, hotel asset manager, real estate sales manager, golf course construction manager and golf operator of this new-build 575 room J.W. Marriott Hotel and 1460 unit residential development in Tucson, Arizona. Willowbend oversaw extensive renovation of the existing 23,000 square foot clubhouse and existing 18-hole golf course, together with the addition of nine new holes, to create a 27-hole Arnold Palmer Signature golf course.

• - The Westin Rio Mar Resort & Country Club, Rio Grande, Puerto Rico

  

  Willowbend affiliated companies were the co-developer, majority owner, real estate sales and hotel asset manager, construction manager, and golf club operator of this 600-room Westin hotel, 36-hole golf course, 1800 unit residential development and 98 unit condo-hotel in Puerto Rico. Southworth continues to be the golf operator at this resort.

  Willowbend Development transformed an existing 18-hole golf course, bought out of bankruptcy, into an exclusive 27-hole country club and residential community, selling over $100 million of residential real estate during a 12 year span. The project was wholly owned and developed by Willowbend.
